Welcome to the first blog post for the learning project on recreating Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
The goal of this project is to recreate every aspect of Wind Waker. This means the art style, lightning and game mechanics.
I will be starting with making a prototype of the game then move onto MVP. We will be taking one mechanic at a time. Starting with the most important parts of the game then moving onto the more complex and less important mechanics.
We will be using the game engine, Unity.
I have the most experience with Unity and feel it will be fine in fulfilling this goal.
There will be updates here but also there is a public repository so you can follow along and also see its progress.
